How To Use Keywords

So you know you need keywords to get your page rank higher, but do you know how and where to use your keyword to have the most effect. Find out how you can improve your ranking by following this guide.

Keyword Density
Keyword density refers to the ratio (percentage) of keywords contained within the total number of indexable words within a web page.
The preferred keyword density ratio varies from search engine to search engine. In general, I recommend using a keyword density ratio in the range of 2-8%.
You may like to use this real-time keyword analysis tool to help you optimize a web page’s keyword density ratio.

Keyword Frequency
Keyword frequency refers to the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase appears within a web page.
The theory is that the more times a keyword or keyword phrase appears within a web page, the more relevance a search engine is likely to give the page for a search with those keywords.
In general, I recommend that you ensure that the most important keyword or keyword phrase is the most frequently use keywords in a web page.
But be careful not to abuse the system by repeating the same keyword or keyword phrases over and over again.

Keyword Prominence
Keyword prominence refers to how prominent keywords are within a web page.
The general recommendation is to place important keywords at, or near, the start of a web page, sentence, TITLE or META tag.

Keyword Proximity
Keyword proximity refers to the closeness between two or more keywords. In general, the closer the keywords are, the better.

For example:

How Keyword Density Affects Rankings In Search Engine
Using the example above, if someone searched for “search engine rankings,” a web page containing the first sentence is more likely to rank higher than the second.
The reason is because the keywords are placed closer together. This is assuming that everything else is equal, of course.

Despite all the stories you’ve heard, the hardest part of working from home isn’t putting on pants every day.

The biggest thing I’ve learned is that working from home doesn’t have to change how you get work done, but it does change nearly everything else about your business. When there is a hard, constant flow of work, it is just like being at an office–with the added advantage that nobody else is there to disturb my train of thought with little distractions.
But on the flip side no one is there looking over your shoulder to make sure the work gets done. There are many distractions at home, kids, friends popping by, tv, phone, internet. Probably the biggest problem for most people working from home is staying focused.
Look the Part, Be the Part
Dressing for work and “arriving” on time, eating lunch on a rigid schedule, shaving, brushing, and so on seems pointless at first. But not doing these basic things is the start of a steep, slope to all kinds of other problems. If you’re not dressed well enough to greet the UPS delivery person, you’re giving yourself license to hide. If you’re hiding, then you imagine nobody can see what your doing, and one things leads to another and before you know it nothing got done and you sit there frustrated that you just wasted another day.
You can not keeping fooling yourself, by not doing the important money producing tasks, you will find yourself working for someone else anyway.

Schedule offline and online social time

When you’re in an office, you’ll occasionally wish for fewer distractions, more privacy. When you’ve been working from home at a frantic clip, you’ll start to realize how much you miss talking to somebody other than your dog, having a good excuse to get up from your desk, and visiting other workers .
So schedule some regular out-of-home social times and online social time. It’s very tempting to keep a Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ tab open at all times, when they’re always open, they’re the equivalent of distracting coworkers, constantly shifting your attention away to complaints, jokes, gossip, and the kind of stuff that makes it hard to get work done at work. You also come to appreciate them less, and they become more of a utility.
Put your two or three “social breaks” right on your daily agenda or calendar. Don’t open social or addictive news sites until that time. Breaking the habit will be hard at first, but like with anything you will get used it.

If you find it hard to keep motivated maybe you need to start asking the this really what I want to do. Working from home can be a great opportunity but you need the focus and drive to make it a success.
Ask yourself every night. If I was my employee, would I keep myself on or would I fire myself? Were you productive enough today to make a difference and keep my company moving forward?
If you lack a big enough why, or a sense of where your work is going to take you, that’s probably the reason you’ll do anything other than what you have to do.
Make sure this is something you truly believe in, because at the end of the day this is your business and no one else’s, it’s all up to you if it becomes successful.

The Seeds Of Success

The Seeds Of Success
Most of us who are doing an online business started because we either seen or heard someone that was doing amazing with their business. What we forget, is all the time and effort that was put into making it a success.
We all start at the same point. All of the millionaires we see online with the big houses and fancy cars, all started at the same point as you and I did.
They made the same mistakes, did all the wrong things, that eventually made them a success.
What makes them different is that they have been doing it longer and have planted more seeds.
How Many Seeds Are You WIlling To Plant?
When we first start most of us really have no clue as to what were doing, which is fine, as long as your doing something you are still moving ahead. It might seem like nothing is happening but for everything you do to promote your business, you are planting a seed.
It may not happen overnight, it may not even happen in a month, but you have to remember, everything you put online stays online for everyone to watch and read.
Three years ago I was involved in a business, and to promote I made videos. To this day, even though the business is no longer around I still get calls because of those videos. I was planting seeds of success even though I didn’t know it at the time.
It is easy to get frustrated when things aren’t moving as fast as we want when it comes to being successful, but you have to remember you are starting with nothing. Picture a seed in your hand, that is what it is to start a successful business online. The more seeds you spread the bigger your crop will be in the future.
If I told you to keep marketing, and learn from others and by your mistakes, and at the end of 5 years I would pay you $100,000 a year, would you stop when things got tough, or slow, or frustrating? Probably not.
If you want to be successful you just have to plant more seeds. The more people seeing and reading what you have the more chance they will want to work with you.
Continue to plant seeds and you will have more success then you could have ever dreamed.

Do It Now

Don’t Wait Do It Now

Years ago I worked for an a company that sold inexpensive insurance policies to basically everyone.  At the time this company was almost 100 years old.
The founder was a very successful guy and had even written a few books and you most likely heard of him.  His name was W Clement Stone.
He started this company with a $100 and built it up to be worth over a billion.  HE knew how to motivate people and get the best out of them.  One of his favorite things to say, and was also passed on to every one was DO IT NOW!
Do It Now.
Whenever you have something to do, do it now. Don’t put it off till later, don’t make excuses.
When you do it now you build momentum, it builds excitement within yourself and within your team.
Procrastination can be a business killer.  Putting things off that you are either uncomfortable or is painful to do will eventually catch up to you, and by that time might actually be worse.
Have you ever put off paying a bill or talking to someone that you really don’t want to?  Does it ever get any better? Do it now, get out of your comfort zone and stretch yourself.  Try it in bed tomorrow morning when you are just laying there, just keep telling yourself DO IT NOW, and guess what? You will listen.
Make the phone calls, write your blog, reply to an email.  Do it now and don’t put it off any longer.
Believe me in the end your life will become alot easier and more profitable by just following these 3 simple words.
